Spanish people will have to do a drug and alcohol test before voting

Because of the arrival of elections on April 28, the Spanish Government has announced new measures that will affect all Spanish voters. And, according to the latest survey conducted by the CIS (Center for Sociological Research) in the last elections 75% of Spaniards had taken some type of drug before voting.

“We want clean and exemplary elections. No external factor should alter the ideological thinking of the Spaniards, so there will be a control of alcohol and drugs in each school before they deposit their votes”, said the General Director of Electoral Elections.

People who refuse to perform prior control will lose the right to vote, while those who test positive for any drug or alcohol will have a second chance to “vote” through a family member who has not ingested any substance that alters their will .
